In his state budget proposal, Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb is requesting $50 million for the Next Level Trails program and $25 million for land conservation projects that will allow even more Hoosiers to connect with their communities and enjoy the outdoors.
Since 2019, Gov. Holcomb has led efforts to invest $150 million in trails through the innovative Next Level Trails program, including the recently announced $29.5 million investment to create the 62.3-mile Monon South Trail.
With Gov. Holcomb’s latest proposed investments, Indiana can continue to expand its growing trail network, including becoming one of the first states to complete its segment of the Great American Rail-Trail®!
Take action now: Thank Gov. Holcomb for prioritizing trails and the outdoors in Indiana. Personalized messages work best: Tell the governor why investing in trails is important to you.
