Tell Your Senators: Support Connected Communities

The U.S. Senate is considering allocating $200 million for the Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment Program (ATIIP)—a grant program we fought long and hard to create.

Now we need your help to make sure this program gets the funding it needs to connect communities in your state and across the countrybut we only have a few days to act.

Sens. Edward Markey (D-Mass.) and Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) are circulating a bipartisan letter to colleagues in support of this funding in the next appropriations bill, and we need your senators to sign on before the Monday, April 3, deadline.

Take action now: Write your senators and urge them to support $200 million in funding to connect communities with trails and other safe walking and biking infrastructure. Personalized messages work best. Please tell your senators why trails and active transportation are important to you.
