Help Advance Trails in Maryland

The Maryland Trails Act will help expand trails to communities across the state. The legislation creates an office of trails within the state department of transportation (MDOT) and calls for a statewide trail network and plan. These simple provisions would help the planning of trail networks across Maryland for years to come, including the Baltimore Greenway Trails Coalition, Capital Trails Coalition and Great American Rail-Trail^®.
