Support Philadelphia's Transportation Improvement Program

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) sets priorities for regional transportation projects in Greater Philadelphia—and their latest Transportation Improvement Program plan (FY 2025 TIP) proposes prioritizing projects that will connect communities by trail—and create safer, more convenient places to walk, bike and enjoy the outdoors.

In addition, the plan includes leveraging the largest investment of the federal Carbon Reduction Program for trail projects, setting a new standard for regional investment of such funds.

This is an incredible opportunity to help complete the Circuit Trails—one of RTC’s developing TrailNation projects that will connect more than 850 miles of trails in the Philadelphia/Camden region.

Take action now: Submit public comments in support of DVRPC’s FY 2025 TIP before the June 24 deadline. Personalized comments work best: Be sure to tell officials why prioritizing safe community connections, including trails, walking and biking, is important to you. To learn more about the significance of the proposed FY2025 TIPread this blog from our partners at the Circuit Trails.
