1 Alaska's Tony Knowles Coastal Trail

Interesting Fact: This Anchorage trail offers breathtaking beauty coupled with a good chance of seeing moose, black bears, bald eagles or other wildlife within the wooded fringes of Alaska’s largest city.
2 Maine's Eastern Trail
Length/Surface: 24 miles; asphalt, crushed stone, sand
Interesting Fact: The Eastern Trail is part of two expansive multistate trail systems: the developing 3,000-mile East Coast Greenway that will connect trails from Maine to Florida, and the regional New England Rail-Trail Network.
3 Missouri's Grant's Trail
Length/Surface: 12+ miles; asphalt
Interesting Fact: Named after former President Ulysses S. Grant, this flat and relaxed 12-mile trail offers access to historical sites, natural scenery and downtown St. Louis.
